If you love photos that show how life actually feels — the way your kids pile on top of each other, the look someone gives you when they think nobody's watching, the beautiful ordinary chaos of a life being lived together — then I think we're going to get along really well.
I'm Meg. I show up to your home like an old friend who just happens to have a camera. I follow your family's rhythm, I notice the things you're too busy living to see, and I photograph the moments that are happening whether anyone's paying attention or not.
By the time I arrive I already know your family. We've talked, I've read your questionnaire, I know what makes your kids tick. So we just pick up where we left off.
I'll have a look around, we'll ease into it together, and then I just follow where your family takes me. I give a little direction when needed and mostly I watch for the small stuff, the in between stuff, the stuff that feels completely ordinary right now and one day will feel like everything. Kids who are wild and unpredictable and completely themselves? That's honestly my favourite kind of session. The messier the better.
That's where the real stuff lives.
About three weeks later your gallery lands in your inbox — ready to download, print and put somewhere you'll actually see it. Not buried on your phone.
I arrive, we ease into it, and then we just get on with it. I get a feel for the space, prompt a little here and there, and otherwise let your family do what your family does.
A week or two before your session we'll have a relaxed phone call. By then I already know your family from your questionnaire — this is just a chance to talk through the day and make sure you're feeling good.
Get in touch and tell me a little about your family. We'll sort a date, lock it in with a deposit, and I'll send through everything you need so there's nothing left wondering.

From the moment you reach out to the day your gallery arrives — and beyond — I'm here. Not as a booking system or an automated process. Just me, genuinely invested in your family and your experience.
I read every enquiry properly. I remember what you told me. I show up prepared because I've done the work beforehand. And when your gallery lands in your inbox I'm still thinking about you — hoping you love it, hoping you print it, hoping it gives you exactly what you were looking for.
This is never just a session to me. It's your visual legacy. And I treat it that way.

Love everything you see in your gallery?
Multiple generations, one place. Time to connect, breathe and just be together - captured exactly as you are.
Lazy mornings, backyard adventures or out and about. Whatever your everyday looks like, that's where we start.
There's something about walking past a photo on your wall and catching your breath for a second. Thinking to yourself,
"That's us. That's really us!"
It's something a phone screen will never quite replicate.
These moments deserve to live somewhere real, somewhere you'll actually see them every day.
Your online gallery connects directly to a professional print lab. Prints, framed artwork, albums delivered straight to your door.
Not sure where to start? I can help with that too.

I’m now based in Romsey, in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, and photograph families right across the region — from Gisborne, Lancefield and Woodend to Kyneton, Sunbury and beyond. I also return to Melbourne regularly, particularly for sessions in the north including Doreen, Mernda, Donnybrook, Kalkallo, Eltham, Mernda and Hurstbridge.
Travel is included for sessions within the Macedon Ranges. A small travel fee may apply for locations more than an hour from Romsey.
It is completely up to you! I personally have a soft spot for in home sessions as it captures your everyday life and your home emphasises your unique style.
Outdoor sessions are a lot of fun too. I have a few favourite locations but it's even more meaningful when you go somewhere familiar to your family that holds memories.
We can always talk through the options and choose the best fit for you.
Family sessions run for around an hour — enough time to ease in, find our rhythm and capture a real variety of moments without anyone running out of steam.
Extended family sessions run for around an hour and a half — a little more breathing room when there are more people to wrangle and more stories to tell.
Either the night before or the morning of your session, we’ll make a final call on whether we move forward with an outdoor session. If it’s raining or there are gusty winds, then we postpone or we can go to your home earlier in the day instead.
The beauty of in-home sessions? No weather issues. Doesn't matter if it's overcast or raining, I'll always find light.
I want you to be comfortable and dress as you usually would so there isn’t a lot that I would say to avoid.
However, I understand that making these choices can be overwhelming, particularly if you’re after a look that’s a little more balanced that the usual chuck-on-what-you-can-find outfit.
So when you book with me, you’ll receive a session guide that has a whole section on what to wear, eliminating that decision paralysis.
We can make anything during daylight hours work for an outdoor session. But if you're wanting the most beautiful, flattering light, you can't go past Golden Hour. It’s just after sunrise or just before sunset. The light is just so magical… all soft and glowy.
In-home session (including newborn sessions), the bonus is that it can be any time of day, regardless of the weather. Personally, I love mid morning. This is when the light is best in most homes and when big brothers and sisters are usually their happiest.
Absolutely! It makes me sad to think we don’t even consider documenting our kids with a photographer beyond the early years.
So 1000x yes!
Teenagers, adulthood, even when you get that pensioner card!
I certainly do! There's nothing quite like holding a photograph in your hands or seeing your kids look at themselves proudly framed on your wall. They create a visual legacy that won't get lost on your phone or computer.
I use the best photographic labs around to provide you with long lasting prints and beautiful keepsakes which you have the option of purchasing through your gallery.
Whichever way you choose to print, all I ask is for you to choose a high quality lab. It makes all the difference.
Yes, I do. Extended family sessions run for around an hour and a half — a little more breathing room when there are more people to wrangle and more stories to tell.
These sessions are some of my favourites. There's something really special about multiple generations together in one place — the dynamics, the history, the way everyone falls into their roles. Those photos tend to become the ones people pass down to younger generations.
If you're thinking about organising one, just get in touch and we'll talk through the details together.
Absolutely! I'd love to photograph all excitement of your family holiday.
Beach, forest, camping, hotel, BIG 4... I'm there for it all!
Let me know what you have in mind and we can plan something that fits perfectly with your holiday vibe!
Honestly? This is one of my favourite things about the way I work. I never expect kids to sit still, pose or perform — that's just not how real life looks and it's not what we're here for.
If a child is having a big moment or just isn't feeling it, I follow their lead completely. No forcing, no bribing, no asking them to smile. As a mum of three and a teacher by background, I understand kids — how they think, what makes them tick and how to meet them where they are. Some of the most beautiful images I've ever taken have come from a child doing exactly what they wanted to do.
The best thing you can do is stay calm and connected with them — kids pick up on your energy more than you'd think. And I'll be right there finding the moments in whatever the day brings.
